• This in-office role will be 16-20 hours per week (two 8 hour days OR four hour 1/2 days)
• Start 8/29 or 9/5 and concluding 12-16-2022.
• $17/hour
• Candidates must be local to Chicago and currently pursuing secondary education in a related field
• Please be prepared to bring some graphic design work samples to your in-person interview!

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Content Creator Intern, you'll be assisting the Creative Marketing Manager in daily tasks to promote ELITE Transit and improve our digital media presence. You'll be responsible for creating original graphics to be shared on social media, managing multiple social media platforms, designing promotional materials for job fairs, creating original merchandise, and recording/producing video content. You'll learn a ton about the logistics industry and how creative fields like marketing/graphic design fit into all types of industries. You'll also have creative freedom to create your own projects, start your own marketing initiatives and make an impact in a growing company. We're looking for a candidate that's self-sufficient, creative, outgoing, and excited about hands-on experiences!

DAILY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• This internship will take place in the office 2-3 days (or 20 hours) a week depending on availability.
• Create original promotional graphics for social media and web presence.
• Manage ELITE social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
  • Including post scheduling, copywriting, graphic design, and community engagement
• Create and produce original TikToks for the recruiting team.
• Work regularly with recruiting team to fulfill new marketing needs
• Participate in wider marketing activities and events throughout ELITE
• Contribute to broader marketing initiatives and bring in new creative ideas

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• EXCELLENT - Written and verbal communication skills - We're chatty folks!
• PUNCTUAL - Let's be on time and get to it!
• INITATIVE - Can you see a project before you're told? Do you like to get ahead of a problem?
• GRAPHIC DESIGN - Competent to Expert familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• VIDEO CREATION - You're comfortable making TikToks around the office, shooting and editing longer-form video on InDesign Premiere Pro
• ATTENTION TO DETAIL - Be your best proofreader!
• Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or similar from an accredited college/university.
