The Role

Provide supervision the TFS manufacturing production department to include operating the process, training employees, completing SAP inventory transactions for raw materials, intermediates and finished goods and coordinating with Engineering on process monitoring.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

    Supervise plant operations and train employees and maintain their qualifications
  • Supervise and lead multiple shifts and processes
  • SAP transactions for inventory
  • Quality - related tasks (SOPs, data control)
  • Scheduling employees to cover MFG timetables/goals (final)
  • Generate Maintenance WO's in SAP
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Tech coverage, repairs, Preventative Maintenance, and spare part needs
  • Support CIP items as assigned
  • Support planning and execution of plant start-up and operations
  • Modify/create SOP for above operations
  • Coordination of production schedules, equipment issues, customer requests, and MOC items
  • Coordinate with engineering and quality on Calibration program.
  • Communication with employees regarding production schedules, timelines, and projects
  • Coordination with plant Management on issues regarding safety, quality, HR
  • Coordination with Warehousing on in/out-bound material
  • Coordination with Engineering to complete punch list items, review equipment issues, complete projects, etc.
  • Accounting review to ensure proper SAP transactions and maintain accurate inventory through counts
  • Maintain ISO/OHSAS certification by working closely with Engineering and Manufacturing Technicians to ensure compliance to quality
  • Serve as the main point of contact for floor audits
  • Ensure 5S completion on each shift
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
  • Completion of trade school or related certification a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or relevant leadership experience, experience in high volume manufacturing industry or chemical industry preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Products.
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with SAP plant maintenance module.
  • Strong communications skills required.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, bend, climb and reach
  • Ability to work alternative hours to lead multiple shifts
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization
  • Must have a valid Arizona drivers' license and clean driving record
  • Preferred experience in operating a forklift and other manufacturing tools
  • Ability to be fitted for and wear a respirator
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
