The Role

The Acids Inventory Control Specialist maintains accuracy for both Finished Goods and Raw Materials inventories including the processing and verification of SAP transactions to accurately capture consumption and movements of batch managed materials in the Acids 1000 location and transfer to the Finished Goods Warehouse.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

    Work with department supervisors to process intermediate and finished product production orders on a daily basis to ensure accurate raw material batch consumption in SAP
  • Conduct cycle counts as scheduled for acids storage locations including raw materials and consumable packaging components
  • Communicate inventories to Packaging administrator to ensure sufficient Purchase Orders are placed to maintain Min/Max inventories based on MRP and published lead times from vendors
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies and submit reports for accrual and adjustment
  • Work with EHS Coordinator and production supervisors to track and process existing secondary market materials as well as materials to be disposed of via NCPAP
  • Participate in periodic inventory audits
  • Facilitate packaging and shipping of special request materials to customers and other FUJIFILM sites
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of previous inventory experience.
  • SAP experience is required.
  • Critical thinking with good computer skills, including Excel and Word, required.
  • Strong communication skills, good general office and organizational skills required.
  • Experience in operating a forklift and other manufacturing tools.
  • Must be able to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
  • Chemical handling experience a plus.
  • Must have a valid Arizona drivers' license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
