Primary Function

The Compliance and Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing critical program requirements, ensure contractual compliance with ICE/ERO policies and procedures, performs audits of programmatic procedures, and works directly with the Program Manager and client to facilitate process improvement and develop new procedural requirements.

All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized. Responsibilities

  • Manages a critical program area that requires focused, program-wide oversight and coordination.

  • Ensures ongoing program-wide compliance with government policies, procedures, and guidance; applicable laws and regulations; and contractor policies and procedures.

  • Leads implementation and management quality control plans.

  • Lead regularly scheduled and unannounced internal audits on processes and systems.

  • Ensures safeguarding of sensitive information.

  • Assists with writing all policies and procedures, corrective action plans, and if applicable assist in deployment infrastructure plans and after-action plans.

  • Ensures contractual compliance with all reporting requirements; immediately notifying contractor management and the COR of any potential issues or noncompliance.

  • Serve as liaisons during ERO inspections.

  • Communicates directly with ICE COR to ensure that compliance and quality control needs are being met.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university (an associate degree with two or more years of extra relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or more than four years of related experience may be substituted for a degree).

  • Have at least two years or more of documented experience in a field related to program management, business administration, or similar occupational area; and (a minimum of four years of experience is required when an associate degree with two or more years of relevant experience is substituted for a bachelor's degree or 6 years of experience in a related field when four years of experience is substituted for a degree).

  • Demonstrate management and supervisory experience applicable to the goals and objectives of this requirement and appropriate for a similar program environment.

  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.

  • Must be proficient in English; able to receive and understand detailed information through oral and written communication.

  • Must be proficient with computers, common office equipment, and MS Office suite.

  • Clean criminal background check, a favorable credit check, and no prior drug use

  • Psychological, honesty/integrity validation pre-employment screening and annual re-screening.

  • Must be able to work full time hours and some weekends, and holidays.

  • Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must be a US citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ORR or ICE experience

  • CPR/First Aid certification

  • Bilingual

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time in an office environment.
