Midland Mortgage uses quality assurance reviews to ensure the Company's compliance with both departmental and quality assurance objectives. The Quality Control Associate performs quality assurance reviews on transactional items, internal controls, and regulations for a wide range of departments. The Quality Control Associate's role includes performing a wide range of tasks necessary to complete quality assurance reviews, such as reviewing, comparing and analyzing various information sets, identifying exceptions and communicating results to the appropriate personnel.

The Quality Control Associate shall perform quality assurance reviews on transactional items, internal controls, and regulations. To complete these reviews successfully the Associate must be detail oriented, be able to multi-task, quickly shift from task to task and meet deadlines with accurate results. The Quality Control Associate must be able to quickly learn new processes and how to use and navigate various computer systems in order to identify issues and irregularities.

Candidates must possess at least 1 year of applicable work experience in a fast-paced office environment, deadline-driven environment, where they are doing very detailed and quality-focused work.

Additionally, successful candidates will possess:

- A strong work ethic and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- The ability to research discrepancies and problem-solve
- Effective and professional communication skills
- The ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with co-workers and other business units
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Access
- The ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to meet deadlines
