Coffman Engineers is seeking aSr. Fire Protection Engineering Technician with fifteen or more years of working experience, who is passionate about their craft, wants to work on a high-functioning team, and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multi-discipline engineering team, and be willing to have fun.

You would be providing our clients with: automatic suppression system design, fire detection, alarm and mass notification system design, life-safety code analysis, egress analysis, fire resistant construction analysis, smoke control analysis and special inspection as well as general fire protection and life safety concepts and research.

Requirements Include:

• Associate's degree in Fire Protection (preferred)
• 15+ years of experience in fire protection systems design and commissioning
• NICET III required.
• Ability to layout and design fire protection systems
• Preparing/reviewing shop drawings and material submittals
• Perform or review supplemental calculations and other functions
• Ability to complete Construction Inspections reviewing the installation of fire protection systems
• Exceptionalwritten and verbalcommunicationskills

Expected Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00.
