Introduction

Within ASML, the Customer Support (CS) sector is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations. One of the departments in this sector is the In-Fab Material Team. The In-Fab Material Team is responsible for facilitating all material movements into and out of the customer facility across multiple shifts.

The In-Fab Material Group Lead will be required to operate independently and maintain the In-Fab operation with little intervention. The candidate will supervise 3-5 direct reports and will be required to balance planning, capacity, and budget across multiple shifts and in tune with central project planning timelines. They will have responsibility for executing all material movements to supply materials as demand dictates to enable the operation and will be responsible for team development and maintaining team capacity through recruitment.

This role will have the opportunity / need for domestic and international travel for extended periods following project demand.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage the In-Fab shift leads to maintain inventory accuracy and full traceability of all materials moving in and out of the customer site.

  • Plan and implement temporary warehouse encompassing facilities and processes required to run the warehouse operation.

  • Efficiently manage warehouse space, direct the organization of materials and oversee material handling.

  • Own the onsite inventory thereby being the first point of contact for material availability issues.

  • Train all team members to follow all operating procedures required for the day to day operation.

  • Participate in improvement projects.

  • Ensure all customer housekeeping requirements are satisfied.

  • Comply with all safety requirements and maintain a strong safety culture in the team. Must have a safety first mentality through proactively speaking up about concerns, following PPE requirements and setting an example for others to follow.

  • Effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Experience

  • Associates degree or higher not required but preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a logistics, operations or production role.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience supervising a team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems preferred.

  • Cleanroom and/or semiconductor industry experience is a plus.

Other Information

  • Position will require travel up to but not limited to 25%.

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
