Provides analytics for the Product Management, Pricing, and Marketing departments. This position assists in a wide array of duties, including competitive benchmarking, market research, sales analysis, forecasting, customer program/pricing, and support of new product development.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regular review of customer and part number sales data and analysis of trends to generate sales leads for profitable growth.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence software to create ad-hoc reporting for internal and/or external customers.
  • Participate in establishing and analyzing product pricing.
  • Assist in identifying new product additions.
  • Acquire products for new product addition and cross reference analysis.

* Participate in cross functional product reviews.

  • Update Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) as requested.
  • Assist in product lifecycle reviews.
  • Assist in project work as needed.
  • Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.

* Required: Candidate must be a College of Business & Technology major with at least sophomore status. Candidate must have at least one year of school remaining. Candidate must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the school year and full time during the summer months (will be flexible around class commitments).

* Preferred: Candidate with a GPA above 3.0 who has 2 years of school remaining and is majoring in Accounting, Finance, or Management

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders], or have refugee or asylee status).
